Pact, a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, is implementing a USAID-funded project, Sajhedari Bikaas, aimed at empowering local communities to direct their own development in the Mid- and Far-West Regions of Nepal. Pact is providing internship opportunities for young professionals, especially women and marginalized community members.
Position: Intern
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, with political science, public administration, mass communication, gender studies, and other social sciences preferred
• Demonstrated interest in local governance, women's empowerment, gender and social inclusion, and conflict management
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong oral and written communication and skills
• Command of English (written and verbal) preferred
