Institute for Reproductive Health Georgetown University invites applications from qualified candidates for following position.
Job Position: Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator (RMEC)
The Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator will be responsible for providing technical assistance and oversight for the formative research, baseline and endline research, and monitoring, learning, and evaluation (MLE) of the Fertility Awareness for Community Transformation (FACT) Project in Nepal. S/he will work closely with implementing partners and research firms to ensure the high quality of qualitative and quantitative research and MLE activities.
Term and Location:The period of contract for this position is approximately one year, March 2015 to January 2016, with potential for renewal.
This position in based in Kathmandu with frequent travel to five districts, one in each of Nepal's five development regions.
Required Qualifications:Master's degree in Public Health, Anthropology, Sociology, Demography, or a related social science field. Minimum of 5 years professional experience conducting service delivery research in the area of sexual and reproductive health. Research experience in family planning/sexual and reproductive health and gender programming.
