Raj Brewery Pvt.Ltd., head quartered in Jawalakhel, Nepal is building a new brewery located in Nawalparasi, Nepal. This brewery is owned by Shah Family and has been involved in alcoholic business for six generations. This brewery will be producing a premium German beer and later a local beer having a capacity to produce 60,000 hl/year. Raj Brewery invites application from the interested and eligible candidates who are reliable, accountable and result oriented for the following position:
Job Position: Brew Master
Location: Bhairahawa

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the installations and construction of a factory.
- Manage and coordinate with brew house supplier, filling line supplier and utility supplier to ensure the proper installation.
- Oversee and ensure the development of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP's) throughout brewery operation.
- Maintain the minimum stock limit of all the brew house raw materials that is required fora production.
- Ensuring the time - temperature matrix is maintained for each process block as per the specifications..
- Ensuring the quality specification parameters for each raw materials as per the industry specification.
- Conform to Utility personnel for steam, water, air and chilling requirements are fulfilled as per the process requirement.
- Manage the number of brews per day, resources requirement and utility planning for each production day and the cost of production.
- Manage and transfer the beer from BBT (Bright Beer Tank) to packaging area.
- Verify CIP is performed after each batch of production as per the industry standard.
- Comply with ISO, OSHAS and execute safety programs.
- Create the safe and clean working environment.
- Responsible for all the financial performance and production plant operation.\
- Formulate and direct, research and development of new innovative beers and work closely with CEO and report to Managing Director.
- Develop and implement best brewing practices with the goal of making consistent product efficiency.
Preferred Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Brewing Technology and/or Qualification from the related professional organization. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Brew Master or in a related field. Apprenticeship in a German brewery and experience in recipe formulation for multiple beer style will be given extra preference.
Competencies Required
- In-depth knowledge and background in brewing and fermentation process, this includes brewing, hops yeast management and propagation, cellar, filtration and packaging operations.
- Ability to demonstrate, develop and produce world class beer.
- Excellent leadership skills that are demonstrated by examples and foster excellence.
- Must have strong analytical skill and result oriented.
- Ability to handle issues and work under pressure.
- Good Interpersonal skills with pleasant personality and computer savvy.
- Proficiency in English.
- (German language will be given extra preference)
