This vacancy concerns, Local Program Leaders, full time in "Women at Work Children at School" (WAWCAS) program in SLISHA. SLISHA is a non-governmental organization formed in 1999 AD by a group of people who believe that development in the country cannot take place without the improvement of the status of women and children. WAWCAS program supports some of the most unprivileged women in Nepal; by offering long term training and supervision in basic business skills, in social competencies and in getting an understanding of their civil rights. The program supports the women in developing a cooperative and saving and loan group and in sending their children to school. The program is funded by Governmental Danish Organizations and WAWCAS INTERNATIONAL.
Job Position: LOCAL PROGRAM LEADERS
Location: Lamjung
Education / Experience / Skills:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Level University Degree, preferably with two years of experience in a related field. Excellent in social mobilization skills.
• Commitment to work and loyalty to organization, a must.
• Good understanding of sensitivity for poverty, social and ethnic issues.
• Willingness to work in flexible timing.
• Valid driving license of a two wheeler.
