UN-Habitat is implementing a UN Peace building Fund supported project on empowering women for access to land in association with IOM and UNDP as an extension of the on-going Catalytic Support on Land Issues. The project works in collaboration with GoN agencies like the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction, Ministry of Women Children and Social Welfare, Ministry of Land Reform and Management and NG0s/CBOs active in promoting land rights at the grass-roots of landless women's issues. In this context the project seeks applications from qualified Nepalese citizens for the following position:
Job Position: Gender Officer (Land, Property and Gender): one position
Level: Service Contract at SB4 / I l
Duty Station Kathmandu with frequent visits to project districts
Duration of contract: One year with possibility of extension (depending on project term)
Expected Date of Joining: As soon as possible
