Pact, Inc., a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, is implementing an USAID-funded project, "Sajhedari Bikaas", aimed at strengthening communities in the Mid- and Far-West Regions of Nepal. Pact is looking for highly competent Nepali citizens for the following positions to be based in Nepalgunj and Dhangadi. Pact's mission is to help build strong communities globally that provide people with an opportunity to earn a dignified living, raise healthy families, and participate in democratic life.
Position No. 1: Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP)
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
Position No. 2: Finance Director
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent in relevant field; A.C.C.A. certification preferred. - A minimum of 8 years of experience managing/supervising financial operations.
- Experience with donor-funded programs (USAID strongly preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word and PowerPoint are required.
- English fluency, both written and verbal, is required.
- Open to Nepalese nationals only.
Position No. 3: Governance Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Science, Rural Development, Engineering or equivalent in relevant field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience working/managing local governance and community development projects.
- Experience in managing small scale infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
- Experience with donor-funded programs (USAID preferred).
- Experience in supporting and monitoring field-based programs in the region.
- Excellent computer literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
- English fluency, both in written and verbal.
- Open to Nepalese nationals only.
