Manager Job Vacancy in a reputed Multi-National Company in Nepal

A reputed Multi-National Company in Nepal requires potential and competitive candidate for its Operation and Procurement dept. to handle the responsibilities of Procurement Manager.

Job Position: Procurement Manager
Background: Beverage, Distillery, Brewery, Manufacturing MNC 
Reporting to: Finance Operation Director
Salary and Benefits: Will be at top end of current market pay scale
Duty Station: Kathmandu

Procurement Manager
The incumbent will be responsible for developing, implementing and leading the operational and strategic procurement activities, in compliance with quality and standards of the company within given timeframe and cost optimization. The Manager will be responsible for preparing business plan and achieve given targets. S/he should have high level of coordination with regional headquarters outside Nepal and bring about a synergy into the company. Candidate should have zeal to handle the challenge of leading a team and proactively handle promising projects and portfolios.

Education and Experience: 

Master’s degree in Management with 8 years of experience in procurement/logistics/supply chain or Bachelors in Logistics / Supply Chain Management with 12 years of experience. Candidate should have min 3 years of exposure in leading a team/department.

Responsibility: 
· Experience in coordinating & controlling the order cycle and in the maintenance of associated logistics information system 
· Knowledge of monitoring the quality, quantity, cost & efficiency of the movement and storage of imported goods
· Ability to analyze data to monitor performance & plan improvements & demand. 
· Incumbent should be well organized and have a strong knowledge of customs procedures
· Knowledge of national & international laws & regulations governing clearing and forwarding
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office package, knowledge of ERP will be an added advantage.
· Good Negotiation skills, Proactive attitude and Ability to deal with diverse vendors 
· Willingness to travel as required

Supply Chain:
1. Planning, scheduling, reviewing and ensuring timely availability of raw/pkg materials and on time delivery of finished goods to all sales depots in a cost effective manner.
2. Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing the purchase of all materials and services for production.
3. Ensuring both goods inward and distribution departments are well organized and adequately resourced to sufficiently support production and the goals of the business.
4. Communicating with all the relevant people / depts and coordinating all relevant inputs (people, plant and processes) to ensure production output and on time delivery targets are achieved.

Administration: 
1. Planning, directing coordinating and overseeing all administrative activities of department
2. Administering the procurement related contracts, agreements, MoUs, AMCs etc. 
3. Industrial relations activities. 
4. Laisioning with local govt. authorities, trade union leaders and other. 
5. Ensuring smooth procurement operations  

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
· Strong Negotiation Skill and job priority and time management 
· Be committed to pro-actively developing training staff in his/her area to meet future demands
· Strong leadership ability and the ability to motivate the Team
