Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has reduced the load-shedding to 27 hours from 34 hours a week with effect from July 16, 2013 (Shrawan 1, 2070). As per the new schedule, Nepalese people will have to live in darkness for 4 hours for three days 4.5 hours for 2 days and 2.5 and 3.5 hours for remaining days in a week.
