The Everest Club (EC) was established by local youths with aim to create civilized and self reliance Society. It has been working in various sectors like Social mobilization, Organizational development, Income generation, Capacity development, Entrepreneurship development, appropriate technology transformation, Renewal energy promotion, Sustainable soil management technology promotion, Marketing, essential infrastructure, Environment conservation & WASH promotion by collaborating with different donors (RERL/DEES, SSMP Helvetas, LINK Helvetas, LILI Helvetas, LWF Nepal/Nepal WASH alliance, PAF Nepal, RAP, SNV Nepal, Second Small Town Project & MEDEP) in 1 Municipality and 35 VDCs of Dailekh District. Surkhet to Dailekh road corridor and Surkhet to Kalikot road corridor is also program location of the NGO for agriculture based marketing, farmer business school and micro-enterprises development.

Key Responsibilities:The Admin and Finance officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition towards the board at the centre office and will support the program management teams as per requirement. The admin and finance officer will ensure that proper financial procedures and systems are developed, operational and maintained throughout the different project cycle. S/he will coordinate and maintain a cash forecasting system to ensure that adequate funds available to meet the working requirements for program. S/he will monitor ongoing levels of expenditure on individual project components as budgeted, and provide timely advice of likely over or under‐spends. The admin and finance officer should also be responsible for the program wise staff salary payment, travel expense advances, and reimbursement and also perform other day to day financial and administration function for the NGO. The Admin and finance officer will be required to maintain regular communication with the Executive Director of Everest club to ensure compliance with policies and guidelines and donor's requirements. S/he will also support to program coordinators in consulting with the Planning, Budgeting and monitoring of project activities as well as Everest Secretariat and board, in providing all necessary financial and other information as requested including preparation of budgets, amendments and forecasts. The Admin and finance officer will hold the primary responsibility for collecting and colleting quarterly financial reports from different programs and for preparing consolidated quarterly and annual financial reports in line with donor requirements. The admin and finance officer will hold primary responsibility for coordinating and overseeing all work of AFO in consultation with program coordinator. S/he should have in‐depth and detailed understanding of financial management, very good analytical, financial, and planning skills, strong staff capacity building, performance management skill and team building skill.
Qualification:
Excellent in spoken and written English and Nepali, minimum Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field, at least three (3) years of progressive experiences in account and finance sector
