Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has reduced the load-shedding to 43 hours from 56 hours a week with effect from June 9, 2013 (Jestha 26, 2070). As per the new schedule, Nepalese people will have to live in darkness for 6 hours for six days each and 7 hours for a day in a week.
