Job Vacancy in FHI 360 (an international PVO)

FHI 360, an international PVO, is seeking highly qualified and dynamic Nepali citizen for the following position and to join its team working on the HIV/FP Project:

Post: Logistics Specialist
Work Station: Kathmandu-based

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Logistics Specialist (LS) will be responsible for all necessary procurement and logistical support relating to HIV commodities (STI, OI and HIV drugs, HIV test kits and clinic supplies) for FHI 360 Nepal and provide technical support on logistics to the National HIV Program. LS will work closely with counterparts at NCASC and will also provide on-site support to HIV program in the districts for HIV and FP commodity management.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
- Master’s degree in a health related field or business administration with at least three years experience in procurement and supply chain management or a bachelor’s degree with at least five years of related experience in health related field or business administration is preferred.
- Should have familiarity and experience in health supply chain management in Nepal.
- Any additional academic degree in pharmacology and/or experience of working in a pharmaceutical company or in government commodities supply chain management will be an asset.

SKILLS/QUALITIES:
- Should be self-initiator and have ability to work independently on several tasks with minimal supervision.
- Should have excellent oral and written English and Nepali skills.
- Should be able to work well with others and develop/maintain relationships among project staff.
- Knowledge of word processing and familiarity with databases, including spreadsheets, and word processing and knowledge of USAID procurement and contracting regulations is desirable.
