The YUWAccess Project (2011-2014) is focused on promoting job market specific activities through Technical and Vocational Education Training Providers (TVETP) and improving access to microfinance among people without resources to address the issue of unemployment and underemployment in Nepal.

The project targets unemployed and low-income youth and women from vulnerable communities in Dang, Dolakha and Ramechhap districts. It is implemented by PlaNet Finance Nepal office, Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industries (FNCSI) and Rural Microfinance Development Center (RMDC). The project is financed by the EU and PlaNet Finance Foundation.

YUWAccess project is going to establish a Council & Placement Unit (CPU) to unemployed & underemployed young people in each project districts. The main purpose to establish CPU is to facilitate those young people into self employment and other job market creation in different level so we are looking for young, dynamic, self motivated young people as Council & Placement Unit Manager

Educational Qualification:

- Should have Masters Degree preferably in finance/management/sociology and any other related disciplines.

Job Specifications:

- Should have at least five years of experiences in enterprise & employment Sector.

- Prior Experience of Project Management is highly preferable.

- Should have willing to frequent travel to project areas in the District.

- Should have well computer literate (Email, Internet and office package)

Job Description:

- Identify the technical and vocational education training providers (TVETPs) institutions and maintain regular contacts with them.

- Collect and update  the information (data) of employment opportunity (Employer / Employee)

- Facilitate access to employment for youth unemployed, particularly to the program beneficiaries. The CPU manager will provide assistance to find a job in one of the existing local companies that were mapped and/or contacted by the project or orientate them toward other regional and national job database which offers the kind of job they are searching for.

- Provide assistance and advices to youth micro cottage and small entrepreneurs (MCSE).The CPU will link entrepreneurs with the appropriate Business Development Service (BDS) providers (MFIs for example) and support entrepreneurs to set up their business

- Monitoring the implementation process and progress as designed the activities.

- Any other roles as assigned by CPU steering committee in the field.
