HelpAge International, an INGO and Global Network of Organizations, helps older people globally claim their rights, challenge discrimination and overcome poverty, so that they can lead dignified, secure, active and healthy lives. HelpAge International South Asia Regional Office Manages the Country Programmes in Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan directly and support other HelpAge organisations in India and Sri Lanka, to ensure the needs of older people in the region are looked after and addressed where possible.
Job Position: Regional Resource Development & Programme Manager (south Asia)
Duration: Two year contract (with possible extension)

This is an exciting new International opportunity to steer the growth of restricted and unrestricted income of HelpAge and its sister-organisations and affiliates in South Asia from major multi-lateral, bilateral and private foundations by undertaking donor intelligence, providing advice and technical support to the development of high quality programmes that meet donor priorities. Your role will also be to strengthen the HelpAge network in the region by identifying opportunities for future development, defining resource needs and strategies for meeting them, as well as supporting HelpAge Country Programmes, affiliates and partners in developing quality programmes that attract donor funding and strictly adhere to standard requirements and donor terms & conditions.
The ideal candidate having relevant Masters Degree Education along with significant international experience of representing organisations in meetings with donors, government officials and project partners as well as experience of planning, reviewing and presenting project proposals. You will also have demonstrable experience and knowledge of working with bilateral donors as well has excellent analytical and research skills. Fluency in written and spoken English is also essential for this role.
