Qualification:

Job Description:
- UMN works with wide range of partners including local NGOs, schools, cooperatives and government offices. Organisational Development is a key area of UMN that builds the capacity of partner organisations so that they can serve their target communities effectively and efficiently. Main purpose of this position is to build the capacity of UMN partners in Bajhang by providing professional expertise in organisational development in order to make a major contribution to the achievement of UMN’s capacity building strategic goal.

Job Description:
- Sustainable Livelihoods is one of UMN’s key Technical Areas that
focuses on long lasting improvement in the livelihoods of families in
remote rural communities, through strengthening the local partner
organisations. This position will work as a member of a district based
multidisciplinary team with extensive travel to other locations. The key
responsibility of the position would be in assisting to assess the
climatic and non-climatic risk associated with rural livelihoods
programme.

In support of my candidature and for your esteemed attention I place before you my flowing particulars to get mated out. I worked with a Non-Governmental National Organization, Helen Keller Int’l as a Technical Officer, CARE- IFSP as Manager Partner, CARE- ANR sector as Manager partner and MACH Project as a community development officer in its Natural Resource Management Programs from I998 to December 2006. Now I’m working as RE-Adviser- Biogas manure Programme NDBMP in Bangladesh under as employee of SNV - Netherlands .
During the carrier my job I have accomplished different tasks regarding Planning, Budgeting, and Implementing, Monitoring, Ecological Agriculture Programs and have gained expertise in the relevant sectors. I worked with Coastal and Wetland Biodiversity Management Project –BGD/99/G-31 from February 2007 to June 2011 as a National Project Professional Personnel (NPPP) implemented by the Department of Environment (DoE) under Joint collaboration and funding of UNDP and Global Environment Facility (GEF).
The overall responsibility was to manage and conserve biodiversity of these areas through community based interventions. The major task performed by me was: Motivation and Mobilization of community for using natural resources in a sustainable way; Agricultural Technology Extension for Introduction of Sustainable Farming System, Crop diversification and activities regarding plant biodiversity conservation; Monitoring and providing Training and technical advice to the staffs of Partner NGO’s. As additional task, I also worked as a Focal Person for this Project in the site office at Teknaf.
Besides, other major tasks performed by me include: collaboration with partner NGO’s and other relevant organizations for successful implementation of the project; Liaison with different stakeholders; Reporting and making further Recommendations to the Project authority for better implementation of the activities. In view of the above experience, I have gained so far makes me confident that I will be able to perform my duties and responsibilities if awarded with honesty, integrity and sincere devotion
