Job Vacancy in DFID (Department for International Development )

DFID, the Department for International Development leads the UK government's effort to fight global poverty. DFID Nepal's programme is providing £331 million over the four years from April 2011 to March 2015.

DFID Nepal is seeking to fill the following position:

Position: Accounts Manager
Post duration: Fixed term appointment of 2 years

Main Duties: The Accounts Manager will report to the Finance Manager. They will ensure the efficient and effective management of DFID Nepal accounts through the computerised DFID financial system with strict compliance to DFID financial procedures. The main duties are set out in the vacancy information pack on the website.

Required qualifications:
• At least a Bachelor's degree with specialisation in Finance.

Required experience:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.

Required skills:
• Fluent spoken and written communication both in Nepali and English.
• DFID competencies (set out in vacancy information pack).
