CARE Nepal is an international humanitarian organization working in Nepal for the past 33 years. It currently works in 47 districts through its 15 projects on issues related to improving the lives of the poor and vulnerable and socially excluded populations. Its programs focus on women empowerment, natural resources and equity & justice.
CARE Nepal hereby invites applications from the interested candidate for the following position for the Emphasis National Project. The aim of the project is to reduce the incidence of HIV&AIDS in mobile populations across Nepal, Bangladesh and India, through interventions at source and destination as well as influencing policies for safe mobility through evidence generated across three countries. The 5- year project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund (BIG), the largest distributor of the United Kingdom (UK) National Lottery funding. BIG is responsible for giving out half the money raised for good causes by the National Lottery: it is committed to bringing real improvements to communities and the lives of people most in need and has been rolling out grants to health, education, environment and charitable causes across the UK since June 2004. The Project started from August 2009 and will continue until August 2014.
