Asian Human Rights and Culture Development Forum (Asian Forum) is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization dedicated in promotion and protection of rights of migrant workers and their families. It is within this context that Asian Forum is implementing the "Safer Migration Project (SaMi) which aims to provide accurate and relevant information on foreign employment. SaMi project is a bilateral initative of Government of Nepal and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation(SDC) being jointly implemented by HELVETAS Swiss lntercooperation Nepal and Ministry of Labor and Employment with purpose to make migration for foreign employment safer and beneficial. Asian Forum invites applications from interested and eligible Nepali citizens with demonstrated abilities to contribute to achieving the project goals and objectives, for the following position:
Position: Programme / Outreach Officer -1 (Based in Kathmandu)
Reporting to the Program Coordinator and mainly responsible for:
• Operational management of the SaMi Project
• Ensure monitoring and reporting are carried out according to project requirements
• Implementation of the activity plans and oversee the project related activities
• Working in close liaison concern authorities and project staff
