Job Vacancy in a 4-year DFID funded programme (Rural Access Programme - Phase 3)

Rural Access Programme - Phase 3 (RAP3) is a 4-year DFID funded programme operating in 14 Districts of Nepal. It aims to improve people's incomes and resilience through employment, sustainable access to markets and improved access to economic opportunities. The Programme seeks applications for the following short-term field-based positions for mobilisation immediately after monsoon: 

1. Senior Surveyor (Roads) - new district road engineering survey in Humla / Mugu (multiple positions) 
a. Diploma in Civil Engineering or Junior Surveyor Training Course (pass), and 
b. Preferably at least 5 years relevant experience in engineering survey works including significant use of Total Station and Digital Terrain Model techniques, 
c. In special cases academic background may be offset by extensive additional years of practical experience.
