BBC Media Action uses various forms of media and communications to tackle poverty and contribute to long-term change in some of the world's poorest places. BBC Media Action is seeking a qualified Training Officer for supporting its wide range of broadcast media training initiatives.
Job Position: Training Officer
Essential skills and experience:
• Proven track record of training design and implementation preferably in the media sector. '
• Understanding and practical know how of adult learning techniques.
• Strong understanding of the role of communications in development.
• Experience of successful project management, ideally in the development field training projects.
• Experience in working with contracts, ideally within the broadcast sector
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of BBC editorial values
• Experience working in either media or development.
• Strong communication skills including the ability to write well in English and Nepali
• Excellent attention to detail.
