Job Position: Senior Manager - Human Resources - 1
Position Overview: The Senior Manager HR will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the human resource management activities of the organisation to maximise the strategic use of human resources. He/she will be also be responsible for overseeing functions such as employee recruitment, personnel policies, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and regulatory compliance. The Senior Manager HR reports to the Chairman & Managing Director.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Management from an accredited university
• Minimum 8 years of core experience in a Human Resources Department, 4 years as a senior HR personnel
• Ability to give full attention to details in personnel communication, to motivate, develop and direct people as they work, and identify the best people for the job
• In-depth knowledge of the 'Nepal Labour Law' and 'Working Journalism Act' preferable
• Demonstrated ability to exercise confidentiality and professionalism
• Demonstrated excellence in oral and written English
• Able to manage and multitask work in a fast- paced environment
• Ability to negotiate contribution agreement and contracts
• Ability to communicate effectively, instilling trust and confidence
• Computer skills: demonstrable proficiency in Ms Word, Excel and Power Point
• Ability to work independently and to exercise independent judgment
