Aligned with Nepal's Health Sector Programme (NHSP) of the Ministry of Health and Population, improvements of quality health services and equitable health financing are the key features of the Programme. Special attention is given to pregnant women, adolescents, marginalized population, as well as injecting drug users.
Job Position: Program Officer - Result Based Monitoring/Knowledge Management
Duty Station: Kathmandu
Required qualifications and experience:
• Master's/Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, Public Health, Management or Social Science or any relevant field.
• Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in a similar position (an exception can be made for qualified candidates in entry-level positions).
• Experience in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation, especially on Result Based Monitoring (RBM).
• Excellent in communication in both English and Nepalese and strong presentation skills.
• Very good working knowledge of IT technologies (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office).
Job Position: Program Officer - Health Information System
Duty Station: Kathmandu
Required qualifications and experience:
• Master's/Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Public Health or any relevant field.
• Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in a similar position (an exception can be made for qualified candidates in entry-level positions).
• Experience in public health and development cooperation, Knowledge of Nepalese Health System.
• Technical knowledge and working experience in the open source software platforms DHIS2 and Open MRS.
• Excellent in communication in both English and Nepalese and strong presentation skills.
• Very good working knowledge of IT technologies (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office).
