RTI is improving education quality, relevance and efficiency through implementation of projects funded by USAID, DFID, Australian Aid and other donors and clients. The International Education Division is currently accepting applications for a Grants Manager and Grants Officer for a USAID-funded five-year project to improve early grade reading in Nepal. These are a full-time position based in Kathmandu.
Job Position: Grants Manager
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or equivalent designation with senior level financial experience. Advance degree at the Masters level will be considered a plus.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in finance and grants management in Nepal.
• Strong government accounting experience as well as experience with USAID, or other donor agency regulations highly preferred.
• Must be fluent in both English and Nepali.
Job Position: Grants Officer
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, social sciences or other related fields.
• The candidate must have 1-3 years of experience working with contracts and grant management to civil society in developing countries.
• Strong financial and administrative management, organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
• Experience in client relationship management, developing program budgets, financial management of large-scale programs.
• Must be fluent in both English and Nepali
