Job Vacancy - USAID's five-year Suaahara Integrated Nutrition program

USAID's five-year (2011-2016) Suaahara Integrated Nutrition program seeks to improve the health of pregnant and lactating women and children under two years of age in 41 districts of Nepal. Suaahara is a comprehensive community-focused program that integrates various sectors - nutrition, hygiene and sanitation, agriculture and health services promotion - in order to address the key factors affecting nutritional status. The implementing partners include Save the Children (SCI), Helen Keller International (HKI), Jhpiego, John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health/Center for Communication Programs (Jhuccp), Nepali Technical Assistance Group (NTAG), Nepal Water for Health (NEWAH) and Nutrition Promotion Consultancy Service (NPCS). 

The program is currently implemented in 25 districts located in Far West, West, Central and East Cluster by the implementing partner agencies SCI, HKI, NEWAH and NPCS. Suaahara is planning to expand to 16 additional districts using a similar model as the existing districts. Suaahara invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates who are reliable, accountable and have the ability to deliver results with the highest level of integrity and who value diversity for the following positions.
