Organization Details: A Swiss non-governmental organization actively contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of poor and disadvantaged people in Nepal. HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation has been working in Nepal for more than 55 years.
Job Position: District Programme Manager
No. of vacancy: 2 (One for Dailekh and One for Kalikot)
Qualification: Minimum Master Degree in a relevant field. Agriculture/Forestry background is preferred.
Duration : 2.5 Years (till project period) with possibility to extend.

Required experiences and competencies:
• Minimum 5 years working experience in the field of development
• At least 2 years of working experience in social mobilization, partner capacity building and agro-economic development activities
• Working experience in the Far and Mid-Western regions road corridor will be an advantage
• Good understanding of agriculture and NTFP Value Chain
• Proven ability to work with a wide range of actors including government, local bodies, NGOs and other development partners
