We are recruiting enthusiastic and highly committed young people for the following position.
Position: Volunteer Peer Educators (VPEs)
Location: Based in rural communities in Dolakha district working alongside with international volunteers.
Successful Candidates must:
• Be aged 18 - 28
• Have minimum 10+2 education (graduate is preferred)
• Be committed to participate in full cycle of the programme (July 2014 - September 2014)
• Be fluent in English
• Should be willing to work with rural school teachers and students, community people and government officials regardless of their race, caste, gender or political affiliation
• Consider themselves a good role model for the local youths and communities
Please Remember:
• This is a pure volunteer service not a job, where you can learn and gain practical skills and hands on work experience of working in the development sector
• Volunteers will be provided food and accommodation (in host family in the community) with nominal allowance during the placement period
