SEAM Nepal project is seeking for the qualified candidate for the post of Librarian. The Librarian will be responsible for overall management of the Environmental Library at Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) established with the support of SEAM Nepal.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Education: Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent
• Experience working with an automated library (modules catalog and circulation) will be an asset.
• Knowledge or experience in the preservation of library collections.
• Experience to work on electronic open source library software
• Working knowledge of basic computer tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, GoogleDocs, RefWorks, Integrates Library Automation System, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Nepali Language.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new things, solve problems and initiative in implementation.
• Experience in project management.
• Good understanding of the Library policies, procedures, methods, ethics and professional standards.
