RIDA, Research Inputs and Development Action (P) Ltd. urgently calls for applications from eligible candidates for the post of Finance Manager to work in its recently commenced USAID funded project 'Feed the Future-Monitoring and Evaluation'.
Major duties and responsibilities:
• Administration and implementation of operational and financial management strategies
• Administration of budgets and effective cost recovery
• Accounting, finance and administrative support
• Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Financial Management or Accounting
• Chartered Accountants and qualified accountants having specialized certification in Accounting and Finance will have a distinct advantage.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in progressively responsible finance and accounting; managing operational, budgeting, financial planning, analysis, and purchasing for programs
• Professional experience handling development projects with NGOs/INGOs in finance matters is strong advantage
• Knowledge of computers, and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.), advanced knowledge of spreadsheet, database packages and accounting software
• Fluency in both oral and written English and Nepali
Term and location: Fixed term, Kathmandu
