As the Business Unit Head– Manufacturing Cement, you will lead the entire technical, commercial process and management of the Cement Projects. You will be an integral part of the team leading business objectives of the CG Cement and accordingly planning, developing and executing other cement projects undertaken by Chaudhary Group within a strong delivery framework of budgets/cost, timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strong monitoring of Management and Execution of project to be measured by KPIs of time, cost/budgets
· Plan, coordinate and/or supervision of all the activities of cement plant construction/erection/commissioning.
· Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
· Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans by adopting various cost techniques.
· Monitor project cost and provide Project Manager with timely identification of deviations from budget.
· Monitor site progress including installation of required equipment against Accepted Programs and 2-4 week look-ahead programs. Make recommendations where extra resource or alternative work processes are required to maintain or increase performance.
· Identify problematic design issues and make recommendations that support engineering procedure as well as ensure the construction schedule is maintained.
· Confer with client, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
· Develop and implement quality control programs.
· Managing the relationship with the JV partners, Government/ statutory compliances
· Ensuring proper Material Resource Planning
