Position Title: Medical Clerk – 2 positions
Classification:Grade 3
Type of Contract: Special, six months with possibility of extension

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Under the supervision of the Health Assessment Processing Officer and Deputy Head Nurse, with the guidance from the Chief Migration Health Physician for technical matters and the Chief of Mission, Nepal for administrative matters, the successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:
MAJOR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible to deal with completed medical files mail-out regularly and coordinate changes with concerned unit of RSC.
- Assist Medical team for medical screening process as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist the nurses in collecting medical documents and filing system.
- Assist Medical immunization nurse to enter data regarding immunization by using institutional software.
- Preparation of daily working list, prepare hard copy of medical documents for MHP, IOM medical card, registration of X-ray coding, contact/appointment to refugee according to schedule.
- Photo identification check including name, age and sex to prevent substitution during medical screening process and X-ray.
- Performing such other duties as may be assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Secondary education is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in clerical work.
- Good Computer skills in MS Office and MS Excel applications.
- Excellent communication abilities in both spoken and written English, ability to formulate clearly.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and ability to organize.
- Ability to deal professionally with confidential information.
