Transcultural Psychosocial Organization (TPO) Nepal is one of Nepal’s leading psychosocial organizations. It was established in 2005 with the aim of promoting psychosocial well-being and mental health through the development of sustainable, culturally-appropriate, and community-based support systems.
TPO Nepal with the financial support of Enabling State Programme (ESP) is implementing a "Capacity Building on psychosocial of staff/focal persons working for the protection of and response to survivors of gender based violence" project. It aims to strengthen the skills of frontline worker working directly with the survivors of gender based violence in 23 districts of Nepal.

Responsibilities:The Project Coordinator will direct overall activities of project. Coordination with Ministry of Women Children and Social Welfare (MoWCSW), Ministry of health and Population (MoHP), Ministry of Peace and Reconstructions (MoRP) and other relevant ministries, department and their line agencies at central as well as in district level is the key responsibility of the coordinator. Furthermore, the coordinator should take the lead for the organizing national level workshop, providing strategic inputs for contents and the methodology of training, quality assurance of the overall activities and reporting to the donor and other relevant agencies.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Required qualification is Master’s Degree in Psychology/Social Work/Public Health or other related fields and an aptitude for senior level coordination, field work, and management of national level trainings and workshops. Prior work experiences in similar position are a requirement. Candidate should have strong writing and communication skills and must be proficient in both Nepali and English language.
Remuneration
Consolidated pay will range between of 45,000 – 50,000 per month based on the qualification and experiences.
