Koshi Victim's Society (KVS) Satire is a non-government humanitarian organization working in Nepal for the past 10 years. It is currently work in Saptari district through its DRR projects on issues related to improving the lives of the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded populations. KVS Saptari seeks competent, committed and result oriented candidates for the position of Livelihood Officer for Oxfam funded program. This position is based in Saptari,Rajbiraj with 70% of field staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This Livelihood Officer (LO) position provides livelihood program direction to projects by developing and participating in program strategy formulation and policy development.
- The LO provides coaching support and guidance to the program coordinator and other daily project staff in various aspects of program planning and implementation.
- She is expected to maintain strong coordination and relations with district lines agencies, stakeholders and the community people.
- She reports directly to program coordinator and maintain close coordination KVS staff.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor Degree in agriculture.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the relevant areas.
COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent in planning, Monitoring and evaluation method and process.
- Excellent training and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to judge people’s characteristics and potentials.
- Excellent in both oral and written English.
- Ability to use computer to run word,excel and PowerPoint.
