Nepal Water for Health (NEWAH) a national level NGO working in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector is now working in partnership with Save the Children for SUAAHARA program which is funded by USAID. NEWAH invites qualified Nepalese citizens to apply for the following position required to implement this SUAAHARA program.
Job Position: EHA (Essential Hygiene Action) Cluster Officer
No. of Vacancy: One
Working Base: Biratnagar based and regular visit to Districts as per requirement.
Position Overview: The position holder will be responsible for the implementation of SUAAHARA (INP) Program with special emphasis on Hygiene and Sanitation Promotion activities in allocated district. Similarly, responsible for providing technical support to the district SUAAHARA office and EHA district Supervisors. S/he will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting the cluster program and maintain effective coordination at Cluster/regional/district levels.
Qualification and Requirement
• Bachelors in Public Health from a recognized university with minimum two years work experience in the related field.
• Knowledge and skill on coordination, planning; monitoring and evaluation.
• Have Good Interpersonal Communication Skill, capable of communicating and interacting with Partners, Stakeholders, Sector professionals and communities as well as ability to work in a team.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Nepali.
• Willingness to work with Children, women, poor, excluded groups and travel to remote areas.

• Especially women and under privileged castes and ethnic groups are encouraged to apply.
• The position initially, will be fulfilled for six month probationary period and renewable upon satisfactory performance for the project period.
