The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN WOMEN) is seeking applications from qualified Nepali nationals for the following position:

The National Consultant will provide technical support to the Peace and Security Unit during the final stage of the inception phase of the project "Strengthening Implementation of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda in Nepal: Towards Implementation of National Action Plan on UNSCRs 1325 and 1820" by finalizing inception phase report and preparing the proposal document for the next 3 years implementation phase. In particular, under the leadership of Peace and Security Unit Manager and in close collaboration with the members of the Peace and Security Team and with guidance from the Deputy Representative of UN Women, the consultant will:

• Contribute to developing a comprehensive final inception phase report of the project;
• Contribute to finalizing results framework and the monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plan for the project and;
• Develop the project proposal document to be submitted to the Project Appraisal Committee (PAC) of UN Women;
• Consolidate and finalize the project document post review by the PAC.
