Terre des hommes (Tdh) is a child protection focused Swiss based International NGO that has been active in Nepal for 26 years. It is seeking a qualified arid dynamic Nepali resident to join its team.
Position Title: Child Protection Manager
Work Station: The position will be based within our mid-west field office, with frequent visits in the Mid West and Far West Development Regional, travel to Kathmandu and across Nepal as required.
Salary Package: NPR 35,000 per month basic salary, plus medical benefits, provident fund, transportation allowance, children allowance. Dashain and annual end of contract bonus.

Reporting to: Child Protection Coordinator
Main Responsibilities: The title holder is expected to bring a body of direct project management experience to act as a focal point for Tdh on the theme of child protection in Nepal, contextualizing it to the South Asia region in general.
Minimum Required Qualification and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in the areas of sociology, social work and/or law.
• Child protection project management experience (Incl. budget design and monitoring)
• Partner development and management experience
• Project monitoring and evaluation systems experience
• High level of English (reading, writing and spoken) and computer skills
• Action-oriented research & project design experience
• Child protection systems & case management experience
