Job Position: Laboratory Specialist

Laboratory Specialist is responsible for overseeing capacity building and technical supervision of laboratory services provided by implementing agencies at district level. The candidate has to coordinate with the National Public Health Laboratory for provision of external quality assessment, training and standardized laboratory procedures and ensure role model of laboratory-related activities as an integral part of Integrated Health Services.
Qualifications: Master in medical laboratory technology or medical microbiology with at least three years' experience working in health program implementation/management or Bachelor's degree with minimum five years of relevant experience (HIV 8 AIDS experience preferred). The candidates should hove the ability to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision. Should be computer literate and have excellent oral and written English skills. Should be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
