Women's Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) Nepal, a national non-government organization has been working on women rights and social justice since its inception in 1991. WOREC leads the Violence Against Women (VAW) and the Economic. Social and Cultural Rights (ESCR) campaigns. The VAW campaign further comprises of Women Human Rights Defenders (WHRD), Anti Human Trafficking and Women Empowerment campaigns, Right to Food and Livelihoods, Right to Health and Right to Safe Migration fall under the Economic, Social and Cultural Rights campaign. The ESCR campaign of WOREC Nepal is aimed at ensuring human's economic, social and cultural rights and is focused to make the state accountable to its actions and operating in regard to ESCR from women's perspective
