HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal is a Swiss non-governmental organization actively contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of poor and disadvantaged people in Nepal. HELVETAS has been working in Nepal for more than 50 years. Currently, it runs more than fifteen projects in five working areas: Education and Skills Development, Environment and Climate, Governance and Peace, Rural Economy and Water and Infrastructure.
Employment Fund is a national level fund which supports skills trainings of poor and socially discriminated out of school youths in order to link them to gainful employment. Employment Fund is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), UKAid and the World Bank.
