Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Currently, it works in 11 countries of Asia and Africa. In Nepal, it believes that the change is possible if its children became educated. If it develops literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children, and support girls to complete secondary school with the relevant life skills to succeed in school and beyond, it can achieve its desired change in Nepal.
Currently, Room to Read Nepal has a team of over 100 dedicated staff, geographically dispersed, and working through 9 partner NGOs in 9 districts. In order to lead its program in Nawalparasi, Chitwan, Kaski, Palpa and Dhading, it is looking for a passionate, experienced and creative Nepalese citizen for the following position.
