The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has increased the load-shedding to 97 hours from 84 hours a week with effect from January 19, 2013 (Magh 06, 2069). As per the new schedule, Nepalese people will have to live in darkness for 14 hours for 6 days and 13 hours for a day in a week.
