Benefits As per organizations policy Line Manager Program Officer (YSSP) Context Restless Development, the youth-led development agency, has been the global leader in engaging and supporting young people to address the most urgent issues affecting their lives, communities and countries since 1985. With 20 years of successful work in Nepal, we are now entering an exciting new phase of strategic significance, impact and national recognition, with the recent launch of a new brand, the creation of a new 5-year strategy and the partnership with Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS).

Its partnership with MoYS is the first time that Restless Development, Nepal is working with the Ministry on a large scale. It has agreed to implement national youth policy with operating Model Youth Information Center at five development region i.e. Dadeldhura, Surkhet, Kaski, Makawanpur and Biratnagar to provide youth friendly services to address the issues relating to young people of Nepal through the centres.

This is an amazing opportunity for Restless Development to raise profile in Nepal but also enables us reach, inform and empower much more young people to encourage them to be leaders of their society today.

Skills and Qualifications Essential

• At least Bachelor Degree in related field.
• Experience working with Government agencies, donors, NGOs/INGOs.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English including exceptional communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office package and internet
• Outstanding time management and organization with a strong eye for detail.
• Innovative and creative imagination
• Clear understanding of contemporary development issues in Nepal particularly those related to Young People
• Passion, enthusiasm and interest in Restless Development's mission; honest and trustworthy
• Manage the MOYS and YIC related data collection, files, documents, reports as per necessary.
• Prepare monthly activities plan for MOYS/YIC, and implement and monitor those
• activities
• A strong personal commitment to the values, aims and methods of Restless
• Development and MOYS.
• Desirable
• Experience working with government agencies or youth organizations will be an advantage
• Demonstrated experience of capacity building, skills transfer, and mentoring.
• Excellent communication, management, teamwork and leadership skills in Youthful and multi cultural environment
• Strong public speaking and networking skills including reporting and documentation skills.
