HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal is a Swiss non-governmental organization actively contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of poor and disadvantaged people in Nepal. HELVETAS Swiss lntercooperation Nepal has been working in Nepal for more than 50 years. Currently, it runs more than fifteen projects in five working areas: Water and Infrastructure, Education and Skills Development, Environment and Climate, Governance and Peace and Rural Economy.
Water Resources Management Programme (WARM-P), executed by HELVETAS Swiss lntercooperation Nepal, is supporting initiatives by local communities, organizations and Government of Nepal for water resources management, drinking Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) aiming to improve livelihood of local communities, especially disadvantaged groups, in the rural areas of Achham, Dailekh, Kalikot and Jajarkot districts. The Programme Management Unit of WARM-P is located in Surkhet.
