Action Nepal is a Non-governmental organization, working in the field of community empowerment at different parts of Nepal through different developmental activities since 2000. “Water and Agriculture for Livelihood Rural Women Programme/DANIDA” is implemented through Action Nepal at Five VDCs of Dhading District with the financial assistance from Embassy of Denmark, Lazimpat, Kathmandu Nepal.
Action Nepal invites qualified Nepalese citizens to apply for the following post.
Job Position: Field Coordinator
Category: Development
Duty Station: 70% field at project locations & 30 % office work ( Dhading bensi Dhading)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Agriculture or Rural Development from a recognized university
• At least three years experience in implementing Water and agriculture related programs, preference will given to the master degree.
• Fluency in English and Nepali, both in speaking and writing.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.
• Solid computer skill (MS word, Excel and PowerPoint).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support assessment, design and implementation of the program component and play a very active role in technical coordination, support and advocacy with local community and other stakeholders.
2. Design the possible irrigation, soil and water conservation and livelihood related activities in coordination with the community.
3. Monitor and evaluate the field based activities.
4. Support the administration and finance department to ensure adequate operational support for the project implementation.
5. Support and ensure implementation of the project work plan in the selected Project sites.
6. Support to establish and strengthen community based co-operatives.
7. Organize and conduct different trainings at community level.
8. Prepare monthly, quarterly bi-annual and annual field report.
