New Loadshedding Schedule - Effective from October 15, 2012 (Ashwin 29, 2069)

The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has changed the time of existing load-shedding schedule (46 hours in a week) with effect from October 15, 2012 (Ashwin 29, 2069). As per the new schedule, Nepalese people will have to live in darkness for 7 hours for 4 days and 6 hours for 3 days in a week. NEA has reduced the load-shedding schedule to only 18 hours in a week during Dashain Festival.
