Nucleus for Empowerment through Skill Transfer (NEST) is a non-profit making, non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1953 with its Head Office in Pokhara, Nepal. NEST is working in the field of Training and Services on Water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), Sustainable Agriculture, Forest Resource Management, Animal Health and Husbandry and Social and Organizational Development as its core program.
NEST also works in community development in selected districts and capacity building and consultancies services throughout the country. Recently NEST and its local partner SSIC Arghakhachi have been implementing "Open Defecation Free Campaign and Sanitation and Hygiene Behaviour Promotion in Arghakhachi" District covering 32 VDCs with the financial support of Global Sanitation Fund/UN-HABITAT.

Report to: Executive Director/Team Leader
