An International NGO working in the field of Women's Reproductive Health is looking for candidates to fill a local position.
Job Title: Health System Associate
Major Responsibilities:
• Update Adverse event guideline and tools in consistent with the National Maternal Mortality Morbidity (MMM) audit guideline
• Organize capacity building training and workshop on adverse event to health team workers
• Support in providing advocacy to integrate Adverse event into the national MMM audit system
• Work closely with regional based consultants to monitor the adverse event occurring in abortion service facilities followed by reporting and follow up
• Develop COPE action plan as per the identified issues/gaps and challenges with close coordination with regional coordinators in Medical abortion facilities.
• Document the activities related to the implementation of COPE action plan and process of initiative in Adverse Event integration into the National MMM audit system.
Core Requirements:
• Minimum bachelor in medicine or clinical nursing (essential),
• Advanced degree in related field (desirable),
• Clinical working experiences, five years as comprehensive abortion care provider and trainer (essential),
• Experiences of using Client oriented provider's efficiency (COPE) as a problem solving tools (desirable),
• Experiences in quality improvements specially for family planning program or generally for the reproductive health program (desirable),
• Has experiences of maternal mortality and morbidity audit system and strengthening quality for maternal health services ( (desirable),
• Excellent in report writing skills,
• Fluent in English, Nepali, good computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a cross-cultural, team-based global environment.
• Ability to travel (80%) in the field for following up AEs and COPE action plans.
