The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Nepal works with people in poverty and distress to create a just and positive change through empowering partnerships and responsible action. It invites applications for the position of Receptionist for the ADRA Nepal Regional Office, Nepalgunj. Nepali citizens with an interest and experiences in related field are encouraged to apply. 

Job Position: Receptionist 
Employment: Contract basis 
Location: Nepalgunj

The responsibilities of this position include: 

(a) taking telephone calls, re-directing appropriate calls to concerned individuals in a professional manner; 
(b) dealing efficiently with guests and other visitors; 
(c) keeping proper record of incoming and outgoing telephone calls, correspondences and goods; 
(d) handling efficiently email, fax and photocopies; 
(e) arranging air ticketing and vehicle as per the requirement; 
(f) communicating and coordinating with project team, Country office, and other stakeholders; 
(g) assisting in coordinating meetings, hotel bookings and events management; 
(h) petty cash handling. 

Competencies: 

• Intermediate level (10+2 degree); 
• Two years of working experience in similar field is preferable; 
• Polite with excellent telephone manners; 
• Training on secretarial services is preferable, good interpersonal communication skill; 
• Excellent computer knowledge (word and Excel); 
• Good organizing skills and excellent on prioritization and time management
