Subisu Cablenet uses Optical Fiber Cable to deliver its Cable TV service, Cable Internet Solution and MPLS VPN Solution and VPLS solution. The Optical Fiber Cable Network provides the backbone transmission media to any service that Subisu has on offer to its clients. Cable TV, Cable Modem & Subisu Wi-Fi solution is provided through HFC network terminating at the customer ends with Coaxial cable or wireless modem.

Educational Qualification:
  • Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Human Resource Management, Administration, Business, Economics or Finance or related area.
  • A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Job Description:
Within limits of delegated authority, and under the guidance of the Vice President Administration and the Executive Management Team (EMT), the Vice President Human Resources will be responsible for the following duties:
Compensation:

  • Conducts and coordinates salary surveys assessing the Nepalese labor laws/Subisu Rules & Regulations at the headquarter in Kathmandu and in the field duty stations and establish salaries and related allowances of centrally/locally-recruited staff.
  • Keeps abreast of developments in compensation.
  • Prepares reports and participate and/or leads special human resources projects on compensation.
  • Develop, update and maintains IT tools used to analyze salary data and the reports that are generated.
Administration and Entitlements:
  • Advise the Vice President - Administration and the EMT on the development, modification and implementation of company policies and practices on salaries.
  • Provide advice on interpretation and application of policies, regulations and rules.
  • Review and provide advice on exceptions to policies, regulations and rules.
  • Determine and recommend benefits and entitlements for staff on the basis of contractual status.
Classification:
  • Prepare classification analysis of jobs in Professional and higher categories and General Service and related categories.
  • Provide guidance to Unit/Department/Functional Heads on the application of the classification policies and procedures and by undertaking whole office review.
Client Orientation:
  • Considers all those to whom services are provided to be "clients" and seeks to see things from clients' point of view.
  • Establishes and maintains productive partnerships with clients by gaining their trust and respect.
  • Identifies clients' needs and matches them to appropriate solutions.
  • Monitors ongoing developments inside and outside the clients' environment to keep informed and anticipate problems.
  • Keeps clients informed of progress or setbacks in projects.
  • Meets timeline for delivery of products or services to client.
Other Duties:
  • Assist in preparing technical reports, policy papers, position papers and briefings notes on compensation and classification matters.

  • Salary shall be provided as per the prevailing industry standard and can also be negotiated in person provided the candidate is exceptionally good.
