Job Position: Research Officer

Type of Appointment: One-year possibility of extension

Position Overview: The Research Officer will be based in Kathmandu with frequently visit to targeted districts. The Research Officer will be responsible for various research activities carried out, including proposal writing, fund raising and other initiatives of NEPAN. The position requires skills of Research Activities, Participatory Action Research, Networking and Reporting.
Educational Attainment and Experience Required:
• Masters' Degree in any discipline preferably in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Demography and/or Development Studies with at least three years of experience in relevant field.
• Experience or ability to engage in research on social sciences, including qualitative, participatory and quantitative researches.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and Nepali.
• Excellent facilitation and documentation skills.
