Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD) is a Pokhara-based non-profit making Non Governmental Organization (NGO) working for research and development in the field of agriculture, biodiversity and natural resource management. LI-BIRD is committed to capitalize on local initiatives for a sustainable management of renewable natural resources and improved livelihood of people in Nepal through particepatory research and development programmes. Qualification and Competence
- Bachelor in Management or equivalent degree with secretarial training from recognized institute and work experience in relevant field with multidisciplinary team;
- Strong Computer Skills, MS-Office Package (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Powerpoint), desktop publishing, graphics and database management;
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with proven writing and spoken English;
- Must be tactful, possess good judgment, and be able to maintain effective working relationships;
- Must be able to deal with high volume work flow and prioritize work based on time sensitivity.
- Selected candidates must make commitments for, at least, three years of continuous service.
