Communication Specialist Vacancy - Chemonics International Inc.

Chemonics International Inc., a leading international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks a Communication Specialist with excellent English language writing skills for the USAID funded Nepal Economic, Agriculture, and Trade Activity.

The communication specialist will develop communications materials, in both written and/or audio format, including reports on project progress and results, presentations, speeches, success stories, and outreach materials.The communications specialist will also edit reports written by other staff members.We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred in communications, public relations, English, literature, international development or a related field
• Experience with projects in policy and agriculture sectors
• Ability to write and verbally communicate clearly and concisely in both English and Nepali
• Proven ability to communicate clear messages and goals to a variety of audiences, including community members,stakeholders, and multicultural audiences
• Demonstrated experience designing strategic communication campaigns, conducting media outreach, organizing media events, and writing project reports
• Strong organizational and computer word-processing skills
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
• Fluency in English mandatory
